National parks 

National parks are areas of special national value to protect study and provide information about the natural environment and cultural heritage.

Estonia has five national parks

National parks have been established to preserve, protect, rehabilitate, study and provide information about the natural environment, landscapes, cultural heritage and balanced environmental use in a protected area. Estonia has five national parks.

When hiking in a national park, make sure to observe the restrictions and instructions there. National parks and other protected areas are managed by the Environmental Board; RMK controls the organisation for visits to the areas.
