Customers

RMK’s principal customers are businesses engaged in timber processing and export. Most of Estonia's saw mills purchase logs and exporters buy pulpwood from RMK. Besides them, customers include producers of thermal energy and electric power consuming firewood and, to a lesser extent, private individuals. Business buying timber continually number approximately 120; all legal persons total up to 600 a year. Buyers of firewood who are private individuals number approximately 2 500 a year.

In 2010, RMK’s 10 biggest customers in terms of sales volume were Stora Enso Eesti AS, Horizon Tselluloosi ja Paberi AS, Estonian Cell AS, Metsäliitto Eesti AS, Eesti Energia Narva Elektrijaamad AS, Södra Eesti AS, Toftan AS, Viiratsi Saeveski AS, Vara Saeveski OÜ ja Lignator Logistika OÜ.

RMK’s goal is to provide customers with quality timber and deliver to the buyer at the time requested by him or her.
