Good state forest management practice

From the previous generation of foresters we took over a well-managed state forest where along with the forest management and production of timber, importance was always attached to the protection of the natural environment.

RMK actively participates in several forest protection projects and understands its leading role in it.  At the same time, well thought out activity is also important in the managed forests, as it determines the overall aspect of the state forests.

We would like to manage the forest in such a way that we leave behind for future generations a well-managed and diverse forest. We act on our wish by sustainable and nature-identical forest management, taking into account ecological, economic and social aspects in our work. We employ forest management measures and refer to that are as similar to natural processes as possible.
